Volunteering at the Club

There's a long history of volunteerism at the Glenmore Sailing Club. As a not-for-profit club, we exist because of the commitment and support of our volunteers.

Volunteer Bond

Members post a refundable volunteer bond with their annual membership fees. When you volunteer, you receive a credit against your volunteer bond which can be applied towards next year's membership fees.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Spring & Fall Clean-up and Seasonal preparation
  • Regattas
  • Wednesday Night Race Committees
  • Sunday Afternoon Series Race Committee
  • First Wednesday Social
  • Year End Celebration
  • Board of Directors
  • Working Group / Committee participation
  • additional volunteer opportunities in the Member's Area of the website.
