You'll find lots of opportunities to race during the season. 

You don't need years of experience sailing before you start racing. Build on your basic skills by joining in the racing this season.

1. Racing Events at GSC

• Wednesday Night Racing Series - first Wednesday of May to mid-September 

• Fall Sunday Series - mid-September to the end of October 

• Weekend Regattas - three weekend Club regattas, and some years we host the Alberta Provincial Regatta
  
  

2. Learn and Volunteer for Race Management
We all volunteer to run races at least one per season. It's fun, you'll learn a lot, and RC volunteers are critical to the success of our programme.

1. Join the club and the Co-op Boat Program as crew or skipper
2. Join the club and come out on your own sailboat.
3. Drop by at the clubhouse on a Wednesday evening after racing for burgers and a drink and say hello!
