Kids in Keelboats - Youth Summer Sailing Camp (SanJuan 21) Ages 12-16

Kids in Keelboats is a five day introductory sailing program to keelboat sailing. Completion of CANSail 2 is a prerequisite for this course.

Each boat has an instructor onboard with three or (4 maximum) kids so the youth receive a lot of coaching time as they rotate through learning and becoming proficient on the tiller, mainsail and jib.

The SanJuan 21 is a smaller, stable keelboat ideal for teaching youth how to sail. Keelboats have inherent stability which allows sailors to focus on learning and practicing sail trim, steering and teamwork.
